04:28[Music]
04:32there's our cold weather is asking for
04:35oh I'm just chilled to the bone I've got
04:38a bit of a breeze as I'm moving these
04:41hives just the disturbances I'm trying
04:45to crack them off the ground because
04:47they're froze the ground as I'm scraping
04:48the runners I have to scrape off all the
04:53mud so the pallets fit on the truck and
04:54stack prop really but it's disturbing
04:58the hives just a bit in it my bees you
05:00just coming to the entrance to complain
05:02of it and then I go back inside because
05:03it's so cold so that's good they're not
05:05you know flying into my face or whatever
05:07things are going pretty smoothly the
05:12frost is nice because I'm not having to
05:13use four-wheel-drive forecast is cold
05:17very cold we're going below seasonal I
05:19guess I should only take me once I get
05:22these nooks in it takes me a bit longer
05:23to put the nukes in just because they're
05:25not as you know typical as the rest my
05:28Avery not a streamlined so it's taking
05:31me all day to get all the nooks into the
05:32winter shed and then it should take me
05:35about three or four days to pick up the
05:37rest of the hives there's pretty quick
05:38work moving those migratory tech boxes
05:42this is my last load of the night I just
05:45wanted to come in here and just pick
05:46this load up this yard up by itself this
05:50this is our silage field we just made an
05:53absolute mess of it with ruts now it's
05:55frozen
05:59and now it's frozen rut so it's hard to
06:01get in here I was bouncing and pounding
06:03all the way and getting in here so I
06:05wanted to make sure just to pull this be
06:07yard out by itself I didn't wanna have
06:09any other yards on here just to make it
06:11easier to to get in here load them up
06:15and then drive them out I'll to drive
06:16out nice and slow
06:18one problem I'm having though is with
06:22the frozen ground of course like I was
06:25saying the hives the pallets are froze
06:27down and it's causing me a bit of
06:30trouble it's pretty dark here I'll bring
06:37this to the front it's causing me
06:42trouble with the pallets freezing to the
06:43ground and because my equipment starting
06:46to get old I'm starting to lose some of
06:50these runners sticking to the ground so
06:54I'm just you know I have to transfer
06:55some hives on to better pallets and I'm
06:59just also repairing the pallets as we go
07:01if the runner pulls off it's usually
07:03because it's rotten so I'm just putting
07:06a new one just underneath screw it on
07:08adding a little bit of time there we
07:11have all the nooks in kinda rode them a
07:14little bit tighter here this year just
07:16to fit them all in and my first
07:20production yard so we had a pretty good
07:24start today these hives were bearding
07:29when I was putting them on the truck so
07:33I hope I have enough feed in here for
07:35him you know that's
07:40I wonder if that's heavy enough I'm
07:42gonna bring this in to scale it I've
07:54been spot checking all these hives and
07:56everything seems to be where I want
07:58things but this does seem a little light
08:00to me let's go check
08:30yeah so that's that's 48 pounds just
08:35about 50 pounds so that's that's
08:37practically all I can find these five
08:39friends you guys are up to weight
